With our guide to what to do in Manila we always try to convince travelers to give the Philippine capital a chance and dive into all the historical heritage it offers. Whether you end up doing so or not, you might need a hotel in Manila near the airport for one of your nights, so you have it close by and avoid unnecessary early starts or the city’s very frequent traffic congestion.
Before you opt for a hotel in Manila near the airport, keep in mind that Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) has 4 different terminals, some of them a bit far from the others. This doesn’t mean it will take you long to get from one to another if you don’t sleep right in front, but if you’re looking for a hotel so close that you can walk to it or you simply want to save time and transportation, take a look first at the terminal your flight departs from or arrives to.
In any case, if you don’t stay right in front of the terminal you’ll be using, you don’t need to worry. Whether by taxi (please, always on the meter), GRAB (the Asian Uber) or using the free transfers that some hotels in Manila near the airport offer, you’ll reach your destination in just a few minutes. So you won’t get scammed, we recommend reading How to get from Manila Airport to the city center.
In case you change your mind and want to stay in other parts of the city, take a look at our article: Where to stay in Manila.
Either way, we recommend arriving early at Manila Airport, because, in addition to possible traffic, long lines form to get in as they check ticket and passport. Plus, let’s say it’s not the most efficient airport on the planet either. Our advice is to plan to be there at least an hour and a half before your flight’s departure time.
We’ve divided the selection of hotels near Manila airport by terminals, since that’s what we believe matters most. Within each section, we’ve also ordered them by price (from lower to higher). In any case, we’ll give you approximate prices for each one. To see which terminal your flight departs from or arrives to, it usually works to enter your flight number and route into Google.

Hotels near Manila airport – TERMINALS 1 & 2
Terminal 1 (T1) is, together with 3, the one that operates international flights, mainly for the Philippine flag carrier, Philippine Airlines (PAL), but also other major airlines such as Saudia, Air China, China Eastern Airlines, Korean Air, Xiamen Air and Kuwait Airways.
As it is relatively close to Terminal 2 and, in front of the latter, there’s really absolutely nothing, we’ve grouped the two into the same section. This is a terminal dedicated only to domestic flights, mostly by Philippine Airlines, but also by Air Asia and AirSWIFT.
Aquí te dejamos algunos hoteles cerca del aeropuerto de Manila, concretamente de la T1 y la T2.
Backpackers Homestay – NomadsMNL – T1 & T2
If you’re traveling solo or as a couple and you’re looking for a cheap place to stay near Manila airport, specifically near terminals 1 or 2 (though it’s also close to 3), NomadsMNL is your spot. They have shared dorms with or without air-conditioning, single and double rooms with air-conditioning or fan from €13 per night. Keep in mind when choosing that some have a shared bathroom.
Although the accommodation is small, the rooms are clean and they also have a small kitchen to make a quick breakfast or some noodles to kill your hunger. There’s a little shop right below the hotel in case you need anything. The Wi‑Fi works very well and Rica, the manager, is lovely and will make sure you’re comfortable and don’t miss your flight. They don’t offer airport pick-up, but it won’t cost you more than 100 pesos to T1 and the ride is just about 10 minutes (around 15 to T3).

NomadsMNL Hostel – T1 & T2
If you’re traveling solo and want to sleep near Manila airport, this is possibly your best option because it’s the only one that could really be considered a proper hostel. Its shared dorms for up to 8 people are comfortable, have air-conditioning and offer beds that provide full privacy thanks to their design and curtain. Each has its own light and outlet, as well as a locker with a key. Prices are around €13 per night.
If you’re traveling with friends or family, there are also spacious quadruple rooms with private bathroom and air-conditioning for about €50.
They include nice touches like giving guests a toothbrush and toothpaste, soap, slippers and earplugs. They also let you check in earlier or later for 50 pesos per hour. The staff help you find transportation, which comes to about 150 pesos (10 minutes) to T1.

Rain Airport Bed and Breakfast – T1 & T2
The Rain Aiport Bed and Breakfast is a super pleasant place at a not‑too‑crazy price to sleep near Manila airport, specifically near T1. It’s one of the few that has a bit of charm without being a huge hotel, with themed rooms (Japan, Nordic countries, Mexico, etc.) and a small rooftop pool in case you’re looking for something beyond a simple layover. It’s true the rooms aren’t very big (the bathroom is rather small), but they’re comfortable and cozy. Prices are around €38 for 2 people, and you can add breakfast for just €2 more each.
The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. In case you’re wondering, it’s about 10 minutes by taxi from T1 (around 130–150 pesos) and about 20 from T3 (under 300 pesos).

City Center Executive Hotel-Near Manila Airport and PITX – T1 & T2
To us this hotel near Manila airport feels like a bargain and it wouldn’t be surprising if the price goes up over time. They have spacious studios and apartments with a terrace, sofa and dining area from just €28, and you also get a great pool and a gym. The largest ones, if you’re interested, even have a kitchen and there are some with capacity for up to 6 people, which are great if you’re traveling as a family or group. So if you’re sure, we encourage you to book as soon as possible.
Right behind the hotel is the PITX bus station, from where buses depart to lots of destinations within the island of Luzon and, because of this, you have a big choice of restaurants (many fast‑food chains) and convenience stores. The Mall of Asia (MOA), the largest mall in the Philippines, isn’t far either. As for the airport, it’s about 15 minutes to T1 and about 20 to T3, so the transport cost is almost anecdotal.

Hyatt Regency Manila City of Dreams – T1 & T2 (also T4)
Heads up! If you choose this five‑star hotel near Manila airport and you have a flight the next day, you might think twice and decide to stay. Seriously though, the good taste in this property’s facilities makes a difference and its spacious, bright rooms with views of the central pool are a perfect place to recharge.
It has a gym, spa and a large restaurant with endless dishes. However, if you want to go out for dinner, it’s great, since it’s located in an area called City of Dreams, with lots of restaurants, and very close to the Mall Of Asia (MOA), the largest mall in the Philippines.
From this hotel to Manila Airport (T1) you’ll take just 10–15 minutes and it won’t cost more than 150–200 pesos. If you’re coming from or going to T3, allow about 20 minutes.

Hotels in Manila near the airport – TERMINAL 3
T3 is the largest and newest terminal at Manila Airport and could be considered the hub of the Philippine airline Cebu Pacific Air. All of its international flights and most of its domestic flights depart from here. Even so, it’s also used by other international airlines such as Air Asia (international flights), Cathay Pacific, Emirates, Qatar Airways, Etihad, Turkish Airlines, KLM and China Southern Airlines.
It’s the one with the biggest selection of places to eat, shops and even an area dedicated to ride‑hailing services (Grab, Joyride, etc.). In addition, it’s connected to the other side of the road (the Newport area, where there’s a casino and also several hotels near Manila airport) by a pedestrian bridge called Runway (we’ve marked it on the map you’ll find above). Because of this, we can find more accommodation that you can walk to. You also have restaurants, cafés and convenience stores here, so it’s the most comfortable part if you have to make a layover in Manila.
By the way, if you want to stay in the airport itself for a short period, although it’s by no means the most comfortable or quiet, there’s a lounge called The Wings Transit Lounge. You can choose between a reclining chair, a hostel‑style bed or a double, or simply take a shower. It’s best to ask them on Facebook.
Palm Tree Villas – T3
In this case, rather than a hotel in Manila near the airport, we suggest an apartment. The reason? In front of T3 there are many apartment towers (condominiums) that many owners rent out by the day. If you look at the middle photo below, these have pools and are literally in front of the airport, just a few steps from the bridge we mentioned earlier and, as it’s a residential area, you have lots of restaurants and convenience stores around you.
You can get there from the airport (T3) on foot in just 5 minutes. If you have a lot of luggage, of course, you can also take a taxi or GRAB.
Palm Tree Villas is actually an owner with several 31–31‑square‑meter apartments with a double bed, bathroom and a small kitchen with a fridge and microwave for those who like to feel more at home. It has capacity for 2 people and also offers access to a small gym and a pool to cool off in. Prices are around €40 per night and they also offer free cancellation.
The only downside we see to this accommodation near Manila airport is that, since it’s not a hotel, you need a little patience to check in. The process is like Airbnb and can be confusing. If that doesn’t bother you, you’ve already seen that the value for money is very good.

Savoy Hotel Manila – T3
For us, the Savoy is the best option if you’re looking for a hotel in Manila near the airport, specifically near T3, and you don’t want to complicate things with it being an apartment; you want it comfortable and with places to eat/shop nearby. It’s a property we’ve stayed at several times and will keep repeating because we love it and, in addition, if you book in advance, you can find a double for €50, which is more than reasonable for the hotel it is.
It’s one of the newest hotels in the area and has a pool, gym, spa, a restaurant and a large café where a buffet breakfast is served that we’ve tried, with a pretty strong selection including the classic morning omelette station. Even so, you have several restaurants and cafés nearby (including a Starbucks and a couple of McDonald’s), a 7‑ELEVEN (which is ideal for buying a SIM card without paying the airport’s tourist prices; more info in Internet in the Philippines) and even several massage centers.
To get there, you just have to cross the bridge at T3 and walk. It won’t take you more than 10 minutes on foot. Of course, if you can’t be bothered or you want to arrive/go from/to another terminal, you can use taxis or GRAB.

Belmont Hotel – T3
Another good option to sleep near Manila Airport is the Belmont Hotel, a modern hotel right in front of Manila Airport’s Terminal 3 as soon as you exit the Runway, that is, the pedestrian bridge. So you’ll get there in just 5 minutes on foot.
The rooms are super spacious and modern, with a flat‑screen TV, air‑conditioning, a small fridge and a kettle. Of course, it also has a pretty beautiful rooftop pool, gym, spa, restaurant, café and room service. In short, it’s what you’d call a “proper hotel”. Prices are around €90 for doubles and €160 for family rooms (up to 4 people).
As of today, we believe it’s one of the best places to stay near Manila airport.

Hilton Manila – T3
If you’re looking for better amenities and to stay in a hotel near Manila airport that offers a higher level, the Hilton Manila has what you need. Its rooms come with a sober, modern décor that leaves no detail to chance.
Its location is perfect, right in front of Terminal 3 of the airport, so you can get there on foot in less than 10 minutes. The list of services at this large hotel is almost endless, but worth highlighting are its huge buffet and restaurant with endless dishes, its large pool and its gym. Believe us, you won’t be missing anything here and the price is well below that of other hotels in this category.

More hotels near Manila airport (T3)
Since we’ve tried quite a few, below are others we’ve liked but couldn’t go into as much detail so this wouldn’t get too long:
- Telly’s Studio Across NAIA3: almost as good as or better than Palm Tree Villas, it’s another apartment located in the same condominium. Well maintained and clean, about €40 per night and capacity for up to 3 people. You can book here.
- 101 Newport Blvd Condotel: if the two apartments we recommended are full, this one is good too, although it’s a little farther to walk (1 block more than the previous one). It’s a bit cheaper, and you can book it for €35–36 a night.
- Khotel: it’s not our favorite, but if you’re looking for something cheap (from €26 a night) that you can walk to from T3 (20 minutes), this may interest you. Do expect something basic for sleeping and showering. You can book from this link.
Hotels near Manila airport – TERMINAL 4
This terminal stopped operating in November 2024 and was demolished in April 2025. For now, it seems it won’t reopen and what used to operate here will move to a former cargo terminal that will be adapted. Because of this, we’re still waiting.
That said, in a sort of annex (a bit odd, let’s be honest) there are flights operated by Sunlight Air, an airline that increasingly has more destinations within the country.
Even so, it’s interesting because right in front of it is one of the few hotels in Manila near the airport with a transfer, meaning they offer free transportation for their guests. We tell you about it below. In addition, there are other relatively nearby accommodations that can also work very well to reach the other terminals in a short time by transport.
Achievers Airport Hotel – T4
The Achivevers Airport Hotel is a great option for a hotel near Manila Airport without paying much (doubles start at €31). It’s located just a few meters from Terminal 4 (so close you can walk), and the price includes a transfer to the airport, which can be either outbound or inbound. If you like, for just €4 more (at the time of booking—on site it’s more expensive), you can add breakfast for 2 people, which isn’t bad at all.
It has a restaurant that’s open 24 hours, so if you arrive at the hotel on a night flight and are a bit hungry, you’ll be able to eat without a problem. The rooms, while nothing to write home about, are comfortable. In addition, they have family rooms for up to 4 people, perfect if you’re traveling with family or friends.

Red Planet Aseana – T4
The Red Planet hotel chain has many properties across the Philippines, offering good‑value accommodation with modern, comfortable rooms. This one is a few minutes from Terminal 4 and one of its main advantages is its proximity to different restaurants and shopping centers. That means you’ll have different options for lunch/dinner at your fingertips and you can make last‑minute purchases before heading to your next destination, since the Mall of Asia is very close by.
The rooms, although small, are comfortable and include air‑conditioning and a safe, as well as cable TV and a good Wi‑Fi connection. If you’re looking for a hotel in Manila near the airport at a mid‑range price with good amenities, this is one of our favorites because it’s not expensive either (around €34 per night).

Other accommodation options at Manila airport near T4
Here are some more alternatives to sleep near Manila airport:
- Bayprime Hotel: pool, gym, a brand‑new hotel just 20 minutes from T3. Prices around €50. You can book here.
- Hop Inn Hotel Aseana City Manila: a hotel from an Asian chain in the style of Ibis—that is, you’ll find rooms with little furniture, but clean and bright. It’s located in an area with lots of restaurants. Doubles are around €35. Book from this link.
